Presentation of Ivan Franko International Prize for Educators
Presentation of Ivan Franko International Prize in the field of social sciences and humanities for educators will take place at Taras Shevchenko National University on December 24, 2015 (Thursday) at 11 a.m.
The event will be attended by the grandson of the Great Kamenyar – Roland Franko, and members of the Board of Directors of Ivan Franko International Fund.
It bears reminding that acceptance of scientific papers for competing for Ivan Franko International Prize will start on April 1, 2016.
Presentation of Ivan Franko International Prize in Lviv
Presentation of Ivan Franko International Prize will be held on October 23 at 11:00 аt Ivan Franko Lviv National University (1 Universitetskaya Str, Lviv).
The Provision on the Prize will be presented within the event. In addition, the representatives of Ivan Franko International Fund will familiarize the audience with its activity and programs, and will tell about focal areas of work.
The presentation will be attended by:
- Roland Franko, Chairman of the Board of the Fund;
- Yaroslav Harasym, Doctor of Philology, professor, vice-rector of Ivan Franko Lviv National University;
- Vitalii Shevchenko, journalist, writer, people`s deputy of Ukraine of III-IV convocations;
- Ihor Kurus, journalist, social activist, Director of the Fund.

The Provision on the Prize will be presented within the event. In addition, the representatives of Ivan Franko International Fund will familiarize the audience with its activity and programs, and will tell about focal areas of work.
The presentation will be attended by:
- Roland Franko, Chairman of the Board of the Fund;
- Yaroslava Melnyk, Doctor of Philology, rector of Ukrainian Free University of Munich (Germany);
- Volodymyr Buhrov, Candidate of Philosophical Sciences, professor, vice-rector of T. Shevchenko Kyiv National University, member of the Board of the Fund;
- Yaroslav Harasym, Doctor of Philology, professor, vice-rector of Ivan Franko Lviv National University;
- Vitalii Shevchenko, journalist, writer, people`s deputy of Ukraine of III-IV convocations;
- Ihor Kurus, journalist, social activist, Director of the Fund.
Ivan Franko International Fund was created in June 2015. International Fund is a non-governmental charitable organization.
The Fund aims to support the development of Ukrainian studies and social sciences, promotion and popularization of scientific and creative heritage of Ivan Franko.
Roland Franko, the grandson of Ivan Franko, is the initiator of creation of the Fund.
